Stephanie Hare

Dr. Stephanie Hare | Post Doctoral Research Fellow

Stephanie obtained her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in 2013 and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California Davis from Prof. Dean J. Tantillo’s research group in June 2018. Her dissertation was entitled “Theoretical and Experimental Consequences of Post-Transition State Bifurcations and Computational Investigations of Other Mechanistically Interesting Systems”, which included mechanistic elucidation of various organic reactions using DFT calculations and downhill molecular dynamics simulations. In her postdoctoral research, she is supervised by Barry Carpenter, and studies molecular dynamics simulations, condensed phase dynamics, and dimensionality reduction of reaction pathways.
