Alex Jones | PhD Student since Oct 2017

Alex completed his undergraduate degree in Audio Music Technology at the University of the West of England (UWE), where he completed a final year project with Dr. Tom Mitchell. He has has worked on various research and performative projects related to creative applications of digital audio technology, including spatial audio. Funded by EPSRC, his PhD (joint between the Department of Computer Science & the School of Chemistry) is focused on developing approaches for real-time data sonification of molecular dynamics simulations in virtual reality.
